The bell rang and the class began pouring out.
The teacher didnt pay much attention as the room began to empty.
Marshall stood up and walked around Jinx chuckling.
He paused.
He knew he could have been an ass and leave her be, but at the same time what joy was in it for him to wake her up.
With a crooked smile he smacked the back of her head, forcing her awake.
She didn’t pay much attention to the bell. But as she suddenly felt a sharp “SMACK” to the back of her head she shot awake. And turned to look. Fixing her glasses, she looked around and found Marshall.
Go figure he was the culprit to the sudden wake up call. And headache.
She noticed the room was emptying and she groaned as she gathered her things. As she stood she pushed passed him and muttered something.
“Thanks for waking me.” She said softly but sincerely.
Then she booked it out of the art room and off to lunch.
