He looked at her as she curled up and bit his lip, remembering what he saw.
“You okay?”She nodded. Burying her head. She had never felt this open this weak and hurt. “No I don’t really think I am.” She said softly.

He hesitated and then slowly sat beside her. He placed his hand awkwardly on her head and swallowed hard.

“No! Nothing is wrong at home. I’m sorry forget I said anything” she said softly. She looked up her eyes red. She breathed out softly. “We should study some….. Could we put on a movie?” She asked. “While we worked?” She asked.
//you have other rps to worry about don’t pretend nine is a priority okay? I’m not good at this it’s probably for the best.
He looked at her briefly and nodded.
“Sure… what movie to do want me to put in?” He asked.//Okay! But if you change your mind you know where my inbox is.
She shrugged as she pulled out her books and notes, “um…..I don’t want to intrude too much. So how about you pick?” She asked him and opened her book to the next chapter.
He nodded.
“Okay”//please lengthen your response?
She nodded softly and took her note book and started to write down new problems and questions for Marshall. She relaxed some as she did so. Easily breathing calmer though her eyes was still bruised as was her body she felt some peace.
He sat beside her and played the movie ParaNorman and sat beside her, watching her write down a few problems on paper. He waited
When she finished she looked at him, “okay so we will work through these for “notes” and to get you started in on this next chapter” she explained softly and calmly.
He scratched his head still nervous about what he saw earlier.
“Okay.” He said hoping he could concentrateShe pulled the sweater up covering the bruise on her shoulder she gave a weak smile to him, unaware what he saw.
He didn’t bother looking at her.
“Okay lets do it”
She smiled more as he seemed determined to study and work through things. She started explaining and talking with him throug the the day. They spent the weekend studying and before they knew it it was over a week later. She and Marshall had been spending tons of time together as she helped tutor him.
But today it was Thursday. The day of finals, and she didn’t feel too nervous but Marshall she knew had studied 3 subjects that needed to be studied in hopes of passing their corresponding final. She prayed silently in hopes he’d do well. He’d been working so hard.
