A merchant ship docks in the Arrendalle port. The ports were full of merchants…and people seeking the creatures rumored to recently inhabit the mountains. Many have gone missing.
One of the passengers exits the ship wearing a simple traveler’s garb and inly a calvary saber on his side. His bag seems to be the heaviest part about him. If one were to go through it, they’d find weapons and armor that makes Arrendale’s seem cheap.
He enters the city, lighting a cigarette.
Elsa smiled softly as they walked away. She made sure personally everyone room was set up with fresh sheets and plenty of warm blankets and that the fire places were already going. Then whilst waiting for Crispin to retrieve her from her study was working on some treatie and trade papers. As well as looking over the land map for all of Arendelle making marks and notes to every location needing to be checked outside the village/castle premises.
Crispin returned fifteen minutes later, RWBY waiting outside. “Elsa, we’re ready to go check the defenses. Would you like us to go before or after lunch?”
“After lunch will be fine. And then I can join. I’d like to see more of team RWBY. And you can give me more insight on the improvements that need to be made.” She said with a smile. Standing up she began cleaning up the map and others papers then put them away before going to Crispin’s side.
They are soon seated at a table, Ruby stuffing her face with cookies. Crispin eats the meal they are given. “Team RWBY has an impressive chemistry despite big differences. Ruby Rose, sycthe and team Leader; Weiss Schnee, rapier and second-in-command; Blake Belladonna, handguns and recon; Yang Xiao Long, hand…shotgun gauntlet things and CQC…and pun master.” Yang fist pumps with her Atlas replacement.
Anna and christoph joined. His face looking better but the black eye still quite visible. Though Anna when she sat down went straight into eating cookies next to Ruby.
Elsa smiled. “Well it is nice to have the extra support here. It’s nice to meet you all. Arendelle is really in a difficult situation right now. We are the last safe zone away from the Grimm and Salem. But within the last two days, we’ve faced one Nevermore. And two three instances of assassination attempts and near casualties” she explained. And ate some of her food. “My abilities can only do some much” She said not pointing out having impaled and killed the Nevermore without a hesitation.
“Which is why I sent out a message. Did Ozpin only send you four or is Atlas sending some support?” Team RWBY looks at their food. “Right.”
Elsa looked with a raised brow, “what’s going on?” She asked. Anna stopped eating cookies and looked at them all.
“Team RWBY came alone. Atlas is not sending troops to reinforce the defenses.” He sips his drink and takes a bite of food.
Elsa doesn’t speak. She shows an expression of upset and calm. She breathed out then speaks, “That’s fine. We will handle it just us then. It could be worse.” She said. She had finished eating and she stood up. “If we have no reinforcements from Atlas it’s fine.”
As she stood trying to remain calm a servant came out with trays of ice cream. One set in front of everyone at the table. Anna and christoph looked at elsa as she put her hand over the table and a swirl of cold cane around dusting the ice cream in a icy whipped topping. She sat back down and looked at Crispin with worry in her eyes.
Ruby squeed in joy…and a sugar high. Team RWBY were oblivious to Elsa’s eyes. Crispin was not. His eyes shone with the same expression…and rage. Rage that Ironwood had left Arendelle to its fate.
In Atlas, soldiers race to transports and grab their combat kits. Sixteen divisions worth of Atlas’s best made ready to head to Arendelle. Our small band of heroes…just had to hold on.
As they continued through dessert Elsa looked at Weiss, “so how is a schnee is here anyways? If you don’t mind my asking. My parents and your mother got along well. But your father was not the case necessarily” she said curious.
She looked over at Anna and Ruby bonding away. Then to Crispin, giving a softer expression. She’d talk to him later, to get things together.
Weiss smiled, “I…did away with Atlas. I wanted to go to Beacon. Much more to my tastes. I still was going to be a Huntress like my sister.”
A muffled explosion outside reached the two Faunus’s ears. Crispin sighed, “Once more unto the breach, dear friends. Once more.” He puts on his helmet, standing up.
Elsa stood as well and she looked at her sister and her partner, “Get the villagers covered” she said.
She moved from the table. “Lieutenant, care to lead?” She asked. A few guards came to the door entrance. Checking on everyone.
